The Launch Pad Windsurf & Foil Academy is located on a remote island in the windy NE corner of Georgian Bay.
Boaters generally arrive via the Small Craft Route
For guests coming by car, below are several options for boat rentals and nearby accommodations.
It is a 14 km trip west from highway 69 out via Key River to the Island.
It is a 2-3 hour canoe paddle.
Or rent a boat and follow the centre of the Key River staying between the buoys in the marked channel.
Boating up from Britt is also an option for larger boats.
(Be sure to have your boater's license (or equivalent) & obey the slow/no wake signs.)
