ABOUT

I started windsurfing here in 1980. I've taught hundreds of people to windsurf. Some have gone on to work at Jibe City in Bonaire or to teach windsurfing and sailing in France. Some students immediately got back into windsurfing after a 30 year break.

For decades I would take my windsurf gear and rig out on the shoals of Georgian Bay. Since 2017 I've had a spot to keep sails rigged and ready to go. I've had fun offering lessons to neighbours from our new island location.

I retired from a 30 year finance career and look forward to decades of teaching windsurfing and now foiling too!

​

The Launch Pad Windsurf Academy welcomes one and all to enjoy some fun and activities in the water.
